The Niagara High School Majorette Squad has been one of the longest running organizations for young women in our school.  Through the years Majorettes have carried the flag, lead the band, participated in talent shows, performed for charity events, and performed for many school/community audiences.   In the last ten years, approximately 350 to 400 students have twirled in majorettes from grades 4-12.  Recently, the majorettes have twirled flaming batons, 6ft flags, glowing batons, and traditional batons.  The Niagara High School Majorette Squad is currently the only squad of its kind in the area.  The Niagara Majorettes have three squads, mini majorettes, junior majorettes, and high school majorettes.  The volunteer coaches and advisors are Sharon Antonissen and Jodi Bjorkman.  The Majorettes are also a self-funded organization.  The Majorettes have raised over $13,000.00 for uniforms and equipment during that last 12 years with help and support from the community.  The Booster Club has also donated approximately $2,000.00 to the group.  Majorettes is open to all students in grades 5-12. Students in majorettes earn athletic letters for their participation and accomplishments.
