The School District of Niagara is proud to offer BadgerCare, our before and after school childcare program designed to support families and provide a safe, welcoming environment for students in grades 4K through 5.
BadgerCare is offered free of charge to families with working parents or those furthering their education. We understand how important it is to have reliable, high-quality care before and after the school day, and we are committed to making that support accessible to our families.
Students participating in Badger Care enjoy:
- A safe and supervised environment
- A healthy snack each day
- Dedicated time for homework or quiet activities
- Opportunities to build friendships and connect with peers
Program Hours
- Before School: 6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.
- After School: 3:05 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
BadgerCare follows the Niagara School Calendar, making it a convenient extension of the school day.
Our program continues to grow, and its success is a reflection of the strong partnership between our school and families. To help us maintain a positive experience for all students, we ask families to keep a few important guidelines in mind:
- Timely Pick-Up: Children should be picked up promptly following the end of your workday.
- Eligibility: Badger Care is intended for families with working parents or those enrolled in educational programs.
- Program Expectations: Continued participation depends on following program guidelines and procedures.
- Getting started is simple. Families only need to complete registration and submit the required paperwork to begin using the program.
We invite you to stop in and visit our BadgerCare space. You will find a welcoming atmosphere where students feel safe, supported, and part of something special.
BadgerCare is more than childcare. It is an extension of the Niagara school community, built around care, connection, and support for our families.
