                                          Welcome to Second Grade! 

   My name is Terri (Olds) Johnson. I have been teaching in the Niagara School District for 29 1/2 years. I attended Northern Michigan University for 3 1/2 years and student taught in Niagara under Cary Garvaglia, Chris Prost, and Terry Youren. I am Grandma blessed with a sweet little girl, Addilynn Maureena Greiner. 

  I have taught first, second, third, fourth, and fifth grade. I have endured many challenges throughout the years, but all of them have shaped the teacher I am today. I am blessed to be a part of Niagara's Community and look forward to fulfilling my career teaching its' youth.
   My family lives in Iron Mountain. My husband recently retired from teaching 7 & 8th grade math. He continues to coach 3 sports- Varsity football, Varsity Basketball, and Varsity Boys and Girls Golf. He taught for 31 years.
   We have three children. Katelynn and her husband Cole Grenier live in Quinnesec. She is a second grade teacher at North elementary in Iron Mountain. Kyle is a teacher, as well, in the Iron Mountain School District. He teaches sixth grade math and science. Kyle is the head JV football coach. Marcus is persuing a career in Business Management. He will be transferring to Michigan State second semester. We have two dogs, Jaycie, our Springer Spaniel and Sophie, our Bichon Shih Tzu.
    In my spare time, I like to walk, bike, lift, read, and most of all spend time with my family and good friends on West Lake in Spread Eagle.
    I am passionate about my job and want all my students to be successful learners and acquire the proper social skills needed to be productive members of society. I look forward to working with you and your child this year.
