The Niagara High School One Act group participates in the Wisconsin High School Forensics Association theater contests. Niagara One Act is a theater group that competes at three levels of competition within the WHFA theater contest. The first competition is the district level, the second is the sectional level, and the third is at the state level. The one act play is a forty-minute production, with set up and tear down times included in the forty minutes. Students present the play at each level and earn a pass or stop by each of the three judges. When the group earns two passes at each level, then they move to the next level of competition. At the state level, students can earn individual acting awards, attend many training workshops, and attend the yearly presentation of a student play which is put on by top high school acting groups in the state. The One Act group performs for the students at Niagara Public Schools and an evening performance for friends and family each year. Students in One Act earn letters for their participation and accomplishments.
